PrototypeFor parents and research partners exploring play-based developmental observation for ages 4–7

FourToSeven

A play-based developmental observation platform for children ages 4–7. FourToSeven records how a child performed during defined game activities and offers strengths-first parent observations—without diagnosing, screening, or predicting outcomes.

Every Habib Labs product is created research-first, with an evidence-based approach.

FourToSeven interface

Families want useful developmental signals without diagnostic overclaim

Parents and research partners often lack calm, play-based ways to observe attention, memory, and related skills under defined conditions. Tools that jump to labels or percentiles create confusion and risk.

Wellness and research observation through play

FourToSeven Track A is a wellness / educational / research observation tool. A child play world (with Habiby) collects structured gameplay evidence; a parent dashboard describes observed performance with uncertainty and data-quality limits. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Engineering is complete; child research remains disabled until the pilot readiness gate is cleared.

Assessments & stimuli

Motor calibration

Star Map Repair

Warm-up calibration activity that helps establish valid motor responding before measurement games.

Stimulus examples

  • Calibration play. Short motor warm-up so later trials can be interpreted fairly.

Play activity for observation conditions—not a clinical motor assessment.

Inhibitory control (game performance)

Sleepy Dragons

Game activity that records inhibitory-control responses during play under defined conditions.

Stimulus examples

  • Play trials. Child responds or withholds during dragon-themed play sequences.

Describes game performance only. Not an ADHD screen or diagnostic measure.

Working memory (game performance)

Explorer's Backpack

Game activity that records working-memory responses during short play sessions.

Stimulus examples

  • Backpack challenges. Remember and select items during exploration play.

No IQ, school-success, or clinical scoring claims.

How it works

  1. 1

    Parent consent and setup

Adult dashboard handles consent, pairing, and session context before child play.

  2. 2

    Short play session

Child completes a brief play loop: calibration, measurement activities, and a creative cooldown.

  3. 3

    Strengths-first observations

Parents see plain-language observations with uncertainty when data quality is insufficient.

  4. 4

    Export and delete controls

Adult tools support export and deletion pathways designed for research-ready privacy practice.

Capabilities

  • Child PWA play world

Tablet-first play with Habiby, sensory controls, and no pass/fail UI for kids.

  • Parent dashboard

Consent, session reports, within-child trends, and offline activity ideas.

  • Research-ready telemetry

Versioned trial-level records designed for later validation—not consumer diagnosis.

  • Claims-safe boundaries

No autism/ADHD/IQ screening, no camera or mic, no third-party behavioral ads analytics.

Where this is going

Now

Engineering complete

Child play, adult dashboard, and privacy pathways are built; production child data stays disabled.

Next

Pilot readiness gate

Live staging, ethics packet, accessibility review, and adult dry run before any pilot go.

Later

Research partners

Consented research collaboration after the gate is fully signed.

Questions

Does FourToSeven diagnose autism, ADHD, or developmental delay?
No. It describes game performance under defined conditions. It does not diagnose, screen, or provide age percentiles.
Is it available for public use?
Not yet. Engineering is complete, but child research remains disabled until the pilot readiness gate is cleared. Join the waitlist for updates.
How is this different from Koki?
FourToSeven is a wellness/research observation product for parents and research partners. Koki is an ABA clinician session companion with a separate play surface.
